The Honeymoon

We had a FANTASTIC honeymoon, Chris surprised me, not by taking me to Port Douglas by organising for us to stay on our very own island ! its called Low Isles and is 12 klms off the coast from Port Douglas. Nobody is allowed to stay on the island, just day trippers.

But Chris knows the lighthouse keeper and organised for us to spend a few nights on the island whilst he went to the mainland for supplies.

It was amazing, everyday tourists would come and about 4pm everyday they would leave, leaving us to watch the sunsets alone on our private little island.

Chris TaylorWe sailed out to the island on the Malaita, a wooden schooner that the guy, Ed, built himself on Malaita island in the soloman islands.

That was 20 years ago and the boat sails beautifully.

Andrea WilliamsWe sailed home on the Shaolin, an authentic chinese junk, what an experience.

We had a great time, one that I'll never forget.

We also went to the Daintree, and the Atherton Tablelands, plus of course the outer Barrier Reef.

What an action packed 10 days it was.
